So much green

48 x 24 acrylic on canvas

These corn lilies shadowed by a grove of Jeffrey pines were about a month from blooming, but the immature leaves were incredibly verdant and many of them still hosted drops of dew. I took a quick photo of them and when I was reviewing my shots I knew I had a painting.
