Milo Wars Flier

 This job came to me on a Friday afternoon, with a deadline of “Nowish”. The subject was a speaking series sponsored by UC Davis to address science in the age of alternate facts that required 8×10 fliers to promote the different sessions. This particular session was focused on the controversial speakers facing protests on college campuses. I decided to run with an intense palette of red and black complimented by a couple of protest oriented visual elements. The biggest challenge, other than the time line, was all of the text which was non-negotiable. I think I was able to use typography and composition to do the best job under the circumstances.
