A painting of a bald eagle perched on a paint pole

A well fed raptor

30 x 24 acrylic on canvas

If you have ever been to Homer, Alaska, you know that this is not a rare site. Thanks to a fish processing plant right on the historic spit, the town is crawling with baldies. I love the juxtaposition of this symbol of natural beauty perched on a shit-covered man-made lamppost.
