A Spring Storm Approaches

Falling snow is one of my favorite things on earth, and when it comes as a surprise I love it even more. This storm came in early June in Desolation Valley just southwest of Lake Tahoe. The storm rolled in over the mountains and eventually left a few inches of wet snow for me to play in and a photo for me to paint from.
